Experimental studies on morphological changes in viscera induced by "toxins of combustio."

Abstract
|
|
|
The author has observed morphological changes of various organs induced by injection of "combustio toxins" obtained by special method to other normal rabbits.
(1) There are no differences, but approximate degenerative changes between morphological changes of various organs of rabbits induced by a single or several continuous injections of "combustio toxins" and those of organ of other rabbits affected from scald.
(2) The author has performed the experimental studies into following three groups with certain intervals.
(a) Animal groups, received injection of "combustio toxins" two times.
(b) Animal groups, received. both injection of "combustio toxins" and scald.
(c) Animal groups, received scald two times.
The morphological changes of each organ of above three different animal groups are approximately those of degenerative nature, but their changes are very severe and the author has also observed the increase of PAS(periodic acid shiff staining) positive substance.
(3) The similar changes as stated in above have been observed in animals injected with cortisone acetate.
